What JOBOHIVE does not do
JOBOHIVE does not calculate payroll, PAYE, NSSF or SHIF deductions. You issue payslips from your payroll tool or accountant, and JOBOHIVE delivers them securely to each employee and keeps the record. We say this plainly so you can choose the right combination of tools.

Frequently asked questions
Does JOBOHIVE handle payroll calculations?+
No. It does not calculate pay or statutory deductions. It stores and delivers payslips that you produce elsewhere, and handles leave, contracts, onboarding and attendance data that your payroll depends on.
Can we pay with M-Pesa?+
Yes. Plans are priced in US dollars. For M-Pesa, we convert to shillings at a rate shown at checkout, round up to the next whole shilling, and record both amounts on your invoice.
Can we import our existing staff?+
Yes. Download the template, fill in your staff list, and upload it. Each person can receive a secure email link to set their own password.
Is staff data protected under Kenyan law?+
JOBOHIVE includes tools to help employers meet the Data Protection Act, 2019, such as consent records, data requests and retention controls. Legal compliance remains the employer’s responsibility, so take advice for your situation.
How many staff can we add?+
